Getting Out Those #%&#$*!%
Carpet Spots the Natural Way

Soiled carpets detract from interior spaces and create the wrong impression for visitors and customers.

Incorrectly treating carpets can actually set the stain rather than remove or minimize it. Worse still, many traditional carpet cleaners rely on harsh chemicals and then add air fresheners to cover the lingering odor.

These chemicals can be irritating and may be harmful to people, especially children and those with allergies. The Greening the Cleaning® Spotting Spray and Carpet Shampoo uses a proprietary blend of natural or naturally-derived ingredients to power away the stain.* Here’s how to use it:

  1. Spray directly on the soiled area.

  2. Agitate spot with a small brush from the outside of the spot inward. (A toothbrush works well for small stains, or use a small scrub brush for larger stains).

  3. Take a white cloth and blot the spot gently. Do not rub, press rag down on spot until soil disappears. Repeat if necessary.

  4. For tough stains, add hot water to spot after brushing and blot as above.

Keeping your carpet clean the natural way is better for occupants and extends the life of your carpet. Spot cleaning reduces the time between general shampooing to save time and cut the cost of carpet shampoo.
